The Alabama Wildlife Federation strives to educate our children about the wonders of Alabama’s outdoors including our rich natural history and biodiversity through our Conservation Education programs.
 

		Alabama Outdoor Classroom Program The Alabama Outdoor Classrooms Program provides technical and organizational assistance for schools that wish to create an effective, sustainable outdoor classroom site on their school grounds.
		Discovering Our Heritage Program The Discovering Our Heritage Program, designed by Dr. Doug Philips of APTV's Discovering Alabama, organizes existing environmental education activities into a structured, comprehensive format and provides pre-planned lessons that guide the teacher throughout the scholastic year.
		Teacher / Educator Workshops The AWF hosts a variety of workshops for teachers and volunteers interested in integrating conservation education activities into their curriculum.
		AWF William R. Ireland, Sr. Youth Wildlife Art Contest The AWF William R. Ireland, Sr. Youth Wildlife Art Contest recognizes the outstanding artistic abilities of Alabama's students, while increasing students' knowledge and awareness of wildlife and wildlife habitat in Alabama.
