WATCH an Awesome Cook-Off in the Making NOW

Local AWF chapters host annual Wild Game Cook-Offs across the state and everyone is invited to participate! These competitions are excellent ways for backyard chefs to show off their culinary skills and enjoy some good ‘ol fashion fun, fellowship, and fabulous food.

 
If you prefer to eat rather than compete, come sample some of the area’s best wild game dishes. Winning delicacies in the past have included “Grilled Dove Breast,” “Smoked Venison with Cajun Wild Rice,” and “Flounder stuffed with Shrimp and Crab topped with a Butter Cream Sauce,” just to name a few.
 
Wild Game Cook-Off festivities often include a raffle and silent auction in addition to live entertainment.

Tickets for each Wild Game Cook-Off are $50.00 for up to 2 Adults
. (Free for Cook Teams and youth under 15) The ticket price includes a one-year membership for you OR your guest in the Alabama Wildlife Federation, a subscription to Alabama Wildlife magazine, and free samples of all of the wonderful wild game entries!

Fish Division | Fowl Division | Game Division

Best Overall Winner | Best Presentation | 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place in each Division | People’s Choice Award*
