The Lanark Gardens consist of 40 acres of cultivated gardens, including a Floral Loop trail, encircling our catfish pond which is surrounded by one thousand mop head hydrangeas. There is a semi enclosed formal garden, created by Isabel Hill, with a combination of perennials and annuals timed to produce throughout the year. We also have an heirloom garden, with benches for sitting on while you enjoy plants from the past. Our hillsides and entrance roads are thickly planted with thousands of daffodils.
Tours include information about the plants cultivated in the gardens and the rich history of the property. Periodically we have plant sales with the proceeds benefitting the Lanark Gardens. Tours of the Lanark gardens are by appointment only.
